“As it turns out, the name Strange Fellows Brewing not only refers to a beloved East Vancouver brewery, but the haunting story behind the space it occupies. And a new haunted house experience is brewing to commemorate it.

Starting on Oct. 23, brewery-goers can enjoy a haunted attraction like no other.

Now in its third year, “Dead Fellows” brings all there is to love about spooky season to the forefront. The haunting decorations and special effects, the costumed, no-contact actors lurking in every corner, and a handful of surprises to keep you on your toes.

Ready to visit a haunted brewery? Mark your calendars for Oct. 23 to 25, and Oct. 30 and 31, 2025.

Early bird tickets for Oct. 23 through Oct. 25 are priced at $27 per person, which goes up to $30 for GA.

Early bird tickets for Oct. 30 and 31 are $31 per person, which goes up to $35 otherwise.”

Crossroads Brewing in Prince George has suffered significant damage due to a fire on Friday, Sept. 5.(Jason Luke/Facebook)

“While the owners of Crossroads Brewing in Prince George are saddened, they’re thankful for the community support after their establishment was destroyed in a fire early Friday morning.

The fire was called in around 3 a.m. Sept. 5. Officers have stepped in to help Prince George Fire Rescue Services extinguish the fire at 508 George St. in Prince George’s downtown core.

‘We are devastated,’ owners Daryl Leiski and Cindy Zurowski on the brewery’s Facebook page said. ‘While the building suffered significant damage, we are relieved to hear that everyone is safe and that nobody was injured.'”

The Boxset Mixed Pack from Phillips is available at Costco in Japan! (photo: Phillips Brewing & Malting Co)

“‘Bringing a taste of Canadian craft across the Pacific,’ the post from Phillips said, thanking their friends at Pacific Rim Distributors for making it happen.

And just in case you’re wondering – the photo shows a price tag of 2998 Japanese Yen, which is equivalent to $28.11 CAD.

I feel like an independent BC craft brewery getting a spot on Costco shelves in Japan is a very cool story and well worth sharing.”

a graphic promoting Beers & Bricks Lego night at Copper Brewing in Kelowna, BC

“‘I am pretty confident that we are the first brewery in Canada to become an official Lego retailer,’ said brewery co-owner Sean White.
