A region that has seen some major development in recent years is Kelowna, British Columbia. Located in the Okanagan Valley, Kelowna has seen growth in not only the craft beer community, but also vineyards, tourism and technology. A newcomer on to the scene who just celebrated its first year open is Vice & Virtue Brewing.

Aaron sat down with Matt Jewell and James Windsor. Some stories he found especially interesting during their chat included:

  • They were surprised by the success of their Raspberry Berliner Weisse

  • The brewery opened with the focus of making great beers and showcasing flavours around the local area, such as fruit and wines.

  • They went to Ontario to find their head brewer.
