✨ PuSh Festival 2026
January 22 – February 8, 2026
Described by The Georgia Straight as “Vancouver’s best festival to give you that Berlin feeling,” the PuSh International Performing Arts Festival is BC’s signature mid-winter cultural event. For more than 20 years, PuSh has showcased bold, innovative, and contemporary live art from acclaimed local, national, and international artists, transforming Vancouver into a hub for boundary-pushing performance each January.
Presented across multiple venues throughout the city, PuSh features a wide range of programming including film, theatre, dance, music, and interdisciplinary works, alongside powerful Indigenous and 2SLGBTQIA+ voices. Known for its curated, multidisciplinary approach, the Festival presents daring performances and multimedia works that spark dialogue, embrace creative risk, and reflect a deep sense of cultural urgency.
PuSh is also committed to accessibility, offering online performances, relaxed shows, audio description, blind- and low-vision-friendly (BLV) performances, Deaf and hard-of-hearing (DHH) options, ASL-interpreted shows, and surtitles across select programming.
🎤 Industry Spotlight: PuSh Industry Series
A standout of the Festival, the PuSh Industry Series brings together 240+ artists and arts workers from around the world for professional development, curatorial research, and meaningful exchange—running alongside the Festival’s artistic programming. It’s a vital space to share ideas, tackle industry issues, build connections, and be inspired by live performance.
