The Allmost Brothers came together for their first show in 2017 after the passing of Butch Trucks and Gregg Allman. It was supposed to be a one-time Allman Brothers tribute. Instead, the band has continued to play shows and festivals digging deeper into Allman Brothers related material. The Allmost Brothers really pride themselves on delivering classic songs like Whipping Post, Jessica, One Way Out, and In Memory Of Elizabeth Reed with energy, passion, and rawness that really connects with audiences of all ages. Members of the band include Todd Taylor (guitar) and Douglas Kerr ( drums ) who have been playing music together for over 30 years.
