Langley offers adventurers a tantalizing mix of urban and rural experiences, reflected by its local breweries through their bold and creative beer and food menus, which often incorporate local ingredients or historic themes in their brands. Located in the heart of the Fraser Valley, yet still an easy drive from Vancouver or the border, this ale trail encompasses Langley City and Langley Township as well as several local communities, including Aldergrove, Walnut Grove, and Fort Langley.

Drive to Langley, an approximately 1 hour drive from Vancouver International Airport (YVR), 25 minutes from Abbotsford International Airport (YXX), or 50 minutes from Bellingham, WA.

Blacksmith is an artisan bakeshop, cafe and pizzeria located in Fort Langley, built on the original site of Reid’s Blacksmith Shop, circa 1910. The Bakery creates real food using traditional artisanal methods, baked fresh daily, on-site, in the open kitchen using locally sourced and seasonal ingredients.

Fort to Fort Trail

The original Fort Langley was a bustling Hudson’s Bay Company trading post, built at Derby Reach in 1827. Walk or cycle between the two forts along the Fort to Fort Trail. Tackling the whole trail can take up to 4 hours but you can take on just a portion and enjoy sights along the Fraser River.
