Virtual Craft Beer Tasting

- Four craft beers that celebrate fall and Germanic styles. We have released three of the beers included, one will be announced closer to the date as a surprise beer: Land & Sea Brewing Oktober Lager, Île Sauvage Brewing La Tarte Pumpkin Sour, and Bomber Brewing Harvest Rye Pilsner.
- Four Germanic-inspired dishes to pair with the beer including some Nuremberger sausage from Bull & Son’s Deli, a pretzel with mustard from The Bikery, cheese pierogi with homemade sauerkraut from Sult Pierogi Bar, and a mind-blowing black forest cake from The Dutch Bakery.
- 1-hour online Zoom meeting. Participants will be emailed a link to join our online tasting. You will need a Zoom account in order to participate (we will send out instructions on how to join).
- Beer & food boxes can be picked up from our Downtown location at 470 Belleville Street. Instructions and time for pick-up will be shared prior to the event.
The event is co-hosted by Bonnie Todd (founder & owner of Off The Eaten Track) and Joe Wiebe. Joe is the author of Craft Beer Revolution: The Insider’s Guide to B.C. Breweries, the definitive guidebook to British Columbia’s burgeoning craft beer industry. He is also a co-founder and Beer Director of Victoria Beer Week and the Content Manager for the BC Ale Trail project.
How does it work? Participants purchase their tickets online. Each ticket contains 4 craft beers paired with 4 local dishes. Instructions for pick-up will be emailed after purchase, boxes can be picked up on OCT 16th at the Off The Eaten Track kiosk at 470 Belleville Street. Guests are emailed a Zoom invitation to join the 1-hour virtual tasting later in the evening (7pm-8pm).
