Whistle Buoy Brewing Company is hosting the first of its inaugural event series, ‘Big Patio Days!’ by celebrating its 5th birthday this Saturday, June 22, 2024, in Market Square. The brewery will extend its patio, adding capacity for 200 additional patrons (293 total) for six full days of music, food vendors, games, fresh beer releases, and all-day beer gardens throughout the summer. The events are seated on a first-come, first-served basis with a $5 cover charge at the door. Each date has the following unique themes:

June 22 – Birthday Party ft. Juice and Acres of Lions

July 6 – Victoria Stampede ft. Bo&Robbie and Whiskey Business

July 27 – Garden Party ft. Juice, Blush, and Brothers

Aug 10 – Surf Rock Beach Day ft. Oily James and Halibut Cowboys

Aug 24 – Cuban Sunshine ft. Miguelito Valdes

Sep 21 – Oktoberfest ft. the Victoria Edelweiss Dancers

Re-entry is permitted with a stamp. The patio opens at noon, with a DJ starting by 1 pm and bands starting by 7 pm. Food is available each day from Good Time Glizzy, a new hot dog cart doing business on the Whistle Buoy patio, in addition to at least one more food option for each event, including Dumpling Drop, The Courtney Room, Cold Comfort Ice Cream, and more to be announced. Outside food is also permitted. Well-behaved dogs are permitted with well-behaved humans, and families are welcome. Cover is required for each person entering the patio, which helps pay the artist fees.
